This vacation home presented the challenge of housing multi-generational family members. While the home's location and architectural details called for a sophisticated design approach, function preceded form. Durable fabrics and high quality furniture that would stand up to the liveliness of the young children while being comfortable for the oldest family members.

“Creating a space that feels like a Vacation retreat for this family was ambitous as the space needed to be comfortable from ages three to eighty. the design intention was bright, colorful and inviting while not overwhelming in the use of colors and textures. ”

"We had a wonderful experience with Emily. She was collaborative, responsive and transformed our home to a beautiful space to be enjoyed by multiple generations. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her."
