Maxey has a demonstrated history in the design industry with more than two decades of experience. She is known for creating thoughtful, functional interiors through a highly collaborative design process.

Emily thrives on building and maintaining strong client relationships through consistent, day-to-day communication. She believes the most successful projects come from true collaboration between clients and the design team. Emily is known for having a 360º view of projects by integrating the principles of architecture, landscaping, MEP, interiors, and structural to create cohesive environments that support both the vision and performance of each space.

Before launching E.Brooks Design, Emily served as Lead Interior Designer at Youngner Architecture & Design and held senior design roles with Design Environments, June Price Interiors, and Lisa Torbett Interiors. Throughout her career, she has had the privilege of working on several well-known golf clubs, including the historic Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, NY. Her blend of design leadership and project management experience helps bring clarity to complex decisions and keeps projects moving smoothly from concept through completion.
